Bitter

The German brand Bitter was founded by racing drivers Peter Monteverdi and Erich Bitter after stopping the import of cars from Italy before starting their production in 1969. The production of sports cars was based on the Opel chassis. The famous development was the founder’s “luxury” dream car called Astra, which was created with the body company Frua. It was not implemented in Germany. In 1972, the Bitter Diplomat CD was released. The next model was on a Senator chassis. The new car was named Bitter SC. The brand went bankrupt in 1986.

Bizzarrini

Giotto Bizzarrini, a former engineer of the famous Italian car brands Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, and ISO, founded Prototipi Bizzarrini Srl to produce cars in 1962. Founded in 1952 based on Austin Motor Company and Morris Motors, it produces cars of many brands – Austin, Morris, MG, Austin-Healey, Wolseley, Riley. The most popular model was the 1963 Austin Mini Super-Deluxe. In 1966, the company was transformed into British Motor Holdings Limited (BMH), and in 1968, merging with Leyland, it became the British Leyland Motor Corporation.

BMC Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.

The Turkish automobile company BMC Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., founded in 1964, is widely known in Asia. Located in Izmir, it focuses on the production of trucks of various classes and buses. BMW

BMW AG – Bayerische Motoren Werke AG is a leading German car manufacturer. Its range includes cars and motorcycles, engines, and bicycles. Founded by Karl Rapp in the fall of 1916, it was engaged in the production of aircraft engines under the name Bayerische Flugzeug-Werke. In the same year, the company was transferred to the Austrian industrialist Franc Jozef Popp, who in 1918 called it BMW AG. After the war, only agricultural machinery and car brakes were produced. Since 1928, the automotive history of the brand begins with the acquisition of a car factory in Eisenach.

BMW M

In 1972, the German company BMW M GmbH (BMW Motorsport GmbH), a Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (BMW), based in Munich, Germany, was founded. The division’s main task was to help implement the brand’s successful racing program in the 60s and 70s due to the departure of the factory team from various series and the predominance of specially designed Ford Capri RSs. BNC

In Levallois-Perret, France, in 1923, a small car company, Bollack Netter et Compagnie, known as BNC, was founded by engineer Lucien Bollack and financier Rene Netter. The first DZ was built based on the Bicycle car Müller – JMK. The transition in the late 1920s to large passenger cars and ultralight racing cars was not successful. The company was sold to Charles de Rico in 1928. He released Aigle in 1929. In 1931, having presented several unrealized projects, the brand was closed.

Bob

The German automobile company Bob Automobil-Gesellschaft Carpzow & Wachsmann OHG was founded in 1919 Berlin-Charlottenburg in Berlin. Shareholders included Karl Carpzow, Fritz Polensky, and Egon E. Wachsmann. In 1920, the company’s new name was given – Bob Automobil-GmbH in connection with the departure of Karl Carpzow and Egon E. Wachsmann. The brand received a new name in 1922, becoming Bob Automobil AG. The main type of production of the company was a two-seater small car. One of them took part in the Berliner AVUS in 1923. The brand was discontinued in 1925.

Bohse

Bohs is a German brand founded by Johann Bohse, a blacksmith who owned an agricultural machinery company. He opened his Bohse Automobilbau GmbH project in 1987 in the commune of Dorpen (Lower Saxony). The brand created open cars by reworking other brands. The first was Sprinter. But the refinement of the not very durable VW Golf MKI called Ems Blitz led to the need to replace it. It was the Soviet Lada 051, cheap and with a solid body. This is Bohs’ 6th model, called Euro-Star, with a fiberglass finish. Landau Safari was also released based on the G8. Production is discontinued.

Bollinger Motors

An American venture based in Hobart, NY – Bollinger Motors, founded by Robert Bollinger in 2014, focused on producing a full-size, power-driven SUV. In 2017, a prototype of a three-door model, the Bollinger B1, was presented, which included the possibility of the easy dismantling of the rear roof section. In 2018, the company’s headquarters moved to Ferndale, Michigan. In 2019, the company introduced two models ready for series production – the updated B1 and the 4-door B2 pickup. In 2020, the headquarters moved to Oak Park, Michigan.

Bolwell

The Australian brand Bolwell, founded in 1962, designs and manufactures sports cars with unique designs. Her models – Mk, were produced in various designs. These were both complete variants and coupes with a mid-engine arrangement (the only option in the world – the Mk VI or SR6 of 1968), the Mk VIII Nagari model with a V8 engine as a coupe and convertible, Mk IX Ikara 1979, Mk X Nagari 2009. The company stopped production in 1979, continuing only to create concept and demonstration models. But in 2009, the production of new cars under this brand was resumed.

Bond Cars Ltd

Bond Cars Ltd is a British automobile company founded by Paul Sharp in 1922 as Sharps Commercials Ltd, headquartered in Preston, Lancashire. In 1963 it was renamed Bond Cars Ltd. 1969 – Reliant Motor Co Ltd. is acquired. The Bond brand was used by Reliant until 1974, releasing the Bond Bug. As Sharp’s Commercials in 1949, it began producing the economical three-wheeled sedan Bond Minicar, which will later give the brand a new name. The car is undergoing several modifications, which will be completed in the Mark G in 1961. From 1963 to 1970, the 4-wheel sports Equipe GT, also Bond 875, was produced.

Borgward

The Borgward brand was founded by Carl F. W. Borgward and existed in Pregnant, West Germany, from 1929 to 1961. The company produced several different brands of cars – Borgward, Hansa, Goliath, and Lloyd. Blitzkarren – a van with three wheels, was the first vehicle to leave the factory gates. Used as a compact truck, including by the postal service. In 1937, Hansa Borgward 2000 was released, from which the first word of the name was removed after two years. In the post-war period, the brand produces 4-wheel Borgward Isabella 1954, sporty. But in 1961, the company filed for bankruptcy.

Bosmal

Polish, formerly known as Ośrodek Badawczo-Rozwojowy Samochod Małolitraowych “Bosmal”, now renamed “Automotive Research and Development Institute Bosmal Sp. Z o.o”. Develops new vehicles for FSM (Fiat Auto Poland). The institute was founded in 1972. In 2010, it became subordinate to the commercial enterprise Instytut Badań i Rozwoju Motoryzacji Bosmal Sp. z o. Its direction is the development and production of passenger and freight transport. The 1983 Beskid city car, the Cinquecento Bombix small fast delivery car, the 1991 baby cabriolet are the main products of the institute.

Bowler Manufacturing Ltd

Bowler Manufacturing Ltd was founded in 1985 by racing driver Andrew Bowler in Belper, Derbyshire, Great Britain. The main focus was the production of SUVs on Land Rover Defender and Range Rover chassis. In 2019, Bowler entered SVO, a division of Jaguar Land Rover.
